Monthly Neighbor Meetings (February – December)

During our Monthly Neighbor Meetings, we will discuss a variety of topics including neighborhood safety, beautification projects, community resources, and more. Join us as we explore and address various aspects that contribute to the well-being and enhancement of our community. All the neighborhood meetings will take place at VIA.

Tuesday, April 8, 2025 | 6 – 7:30PM

• Topic: National Avenue Reconstruction
• Presenters: Department of Public Works
• Location: PK Palace 3730 W. National Ave. Milwaukee WI 53215

Did you know National Avenue will be reconstructed from 39th to 1st street beginning next year. Join our next meeting to learn more about the project, and how the reconstruction will impact your business, residence, or commute. The department of public works will be present to provide you with the most up-to-date information and inform you on what you can expect prior to the beginning of construction.

• Topic: How to use MKE Mobile Action App
• Presenters: Department of Neighborhood Services
• Location: VIA Office 3524 W. National Ave.

Join us to meet the Department of Neighborhood Services and learn how to report issues to the city using the MKE Mobile Action App. During an in-person, step-by-step tutorial, you’ll have the chance to explore the app and see how it can support you. From reporting a streetlight outage to requesting garbage removal, the app offers a quick and convenient way to notify the city and track updates on your report.

• Presenters: VIA CDC
• Location: VIA Office 3524 W. National Ave.

Please join us for an evening of fun and creativity. Neighbors will have the opportunity to create their own Loteria card and test their luck by playing for door-prizes. It’s a wonderful time to reconnect with neighbors and learn what’s ahead for summer of 2025.
